Gonna give it a try....

I created this a while ago with no goals in mind, I just did it because I was bored, lol. I think now I'm going to make myself post once a week just to give myself something to do since I have nothing going on in my life. Maybe if I just start writing about what going through my head and just of the random things I'm doing I can figure out what I want to do with myself. Which right now isn't much to go on. I think for now I'll just start off with an introduction of myself.

My name is Siedah (HI!!!) I live in Florida, but I'm originally from New Orleans(heeeeyyy!!!). I like to cook listen to music, my current music of choice is Kpop. I also live for Asian dramas and "The Walking Dead." The hobby of choice that I do it crochet and knit, which keeps me sane and also drives me insane. I also have a dog named Rocky whom I'll probably talk about ALOT! hmmm that's all I can think of for right now. If I can think of more then I'll write it down.

So this is what I'm currently crocheting. It'll look different once I'm done.

And this is Rocky :D

What I'm Feeling at the Moment

In my quest to find new music I came across David Dallas who is a rapper from New Zealand. I'm not a real big rap fan, but his music is different then what alot of rap artist are putting out now. I first heard about him while looking at videos for another New Zealand artist P-money whose song Everything is currently on constant play on my computer.

But Dallas' music is somthing to get hyped about I'm looking forward to hear more from him.

Also right now I'm also feeling Asher Roth I was hearing alot about him but never heard his music until I came across his song She Don't Wanna Man (ft. Keri Hilson) which I love then I listened to his debut song from his album Asleep in the Bread Aisle, I love College. The song has a white boy rap to where kids in the suburbs would really like. The song is cool I like.

But this is all I have discovered that I am liking at the moment until I come across something new.

The Music in Me.

Today I was thinking about how much music has changed from what it was. I think today's is mediocre compared to what it used to be. I think there is such a lack of talent out there and people I think are so used to people who are not so talented that they accept it and think its good music. Whereas the artist who do have talent don't get the recognition that they deserve. Though I may not be old and have not lived thru some of the musical greats I know what is good when I hear it and whats not. Music today sometimes have the same emotions or sound as far as talent that it once had. There are a few artist that are out today that I think that have the potential to be big, but won't make because their label won't promote them as they should be and there isn't any music outlets beside the radio for artist to be heard and even then they won't get heard because they always play the same stuff over on the hour every hour. Maybe one day the music become as special to me as it once was but for now i'm still searching for new music that I will move me, and get me to listen again.

Here's Your Sign!

When I first read this I cracked up laughing.

Now this is priceless!

So much for Weight Watchers...

Yesterday I was buying 2 large bags of Purina dog chow at Wal-Mart, for my dogs. I was about to check out when a woman behind me asked if I had a dog. What did she think, that I had an elephant? Since I had little else to do, on impulse, I told her that no, I didn't have a dog, and that I was starting the Purina Diet again, although I probably shouldn't because I ended up in the hospital last time.

On the bright side though, I'd lost 50 pounds before I awakened in an intensive care ward with tubes co ming out of every hole in my body and IVs in both arms. I told her that it was essentially a perfect diet and that the way that it works is to load your pockets with Purina nuggets and simply eat one or two every time you feel hungry and that the food is nutritionally complete so I was going to try it again. (I have to mention here that practically everyone in the line was enthralled with my story by now.)

Horrified, she asked if I ended up in intensive care because the dog food had poisoned me. I told her no; I had stopped in the middle of the parking lot to lick my ass and a car hit me. I thought the guy behind her was going to have a heart attack, he was laughing so hard! WAL-MART won't let me shop there anymore
